Registration and Login

What is registration, and what is login?

New visitors of our website who wish to become LPC users need to register. All existing LPC users log in.

 

How to register?

You can register at any time to become our LPC user. It is possible to register while buying the products, including the ones that are free.

By entering your personal data and a password of your choice, you will create an LPC user account, which you can later access via “My account” and edit or change your personal data and password.

 

How to log in?

Users who have already registered have to log in to access their account. Go to page LPC and click on “Log In” for the Login page to show. Enter your user data – email and password – and you will be able to log in to the system and continue learning!

You can also log in through the posts and the course shop page – login option is offered in the menu on the left side.

 

Username and password

LPC will never send your username and password to your email. Furthermore, it will never ask you for your user data by email or telephone.

Since we care about your safety, if you lose your password, LPC will send a message to your email, containing a link that will allow you to reset your password.

If you wish to change your personal data or password at any time, you can do this in your account details.

 

My account

If necessary, you can adjust your user account settings at any time: you can review your recent orders, edit personalized payment methods, change your personal data or reset your password.

 

Technical Requirements

Who can use LPC?

Anyone over 18 wanting to learn in a simple, interesting and interactive way is welcome to join our LPC platform.

Every user who registers through course shop automatically becomes our customer and has access to all LPC contents – the dashboard, their courses, achievements and account, the course shop and our blog posts.

Business users, whose LPC education was provided by their company, have access to all LPC contents – the dashboard, their courses, achievements, accounts, and our blog posts – aside from the course shop.

 

How, where and when can I learn with LPC?

LPC is a learning platform available 0-24, 7 days a week, and it can be accessed through any electronic device. The website is optimized for smartphones, tablets, laptop and desktop computers, and all operative systems (Windows, iOS, Android) and internet browsers (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.)

Learn intelligently by using your mobile phone or build your knowledge from the comfort of your armchair whenever and wherever you feel like it. LPC is adjustable to your needs, wishes and abilities!

 

Technical difficulties

Website is taking a long time to load

The speed of loading media-rich contents in LPC lessons depends on the quality, speed and congestion of your internet connection.

With mobile devices, the load speed of LPC website depends not only on the type of connection (data or WiFi), but also on how old your device is and its technical specifications.

Problems with the reproduction of audio and video contents

If you are experiencing difficulties with the reproduction of video and audio contents, check the quality of your Internet connection when working on a computer. For smartphones, we recommend connecting to WiFi to ensure better connectivity and faster data transfer.

Safety

Is it safe to make purchases in LPC?

Entering and transferring of personal data and credit card number data are protected by the highest safety standards provided by WSpay™ credit cards online authorization system, in accordance with the requirements of credit card companies and brands and PCI DSS standards. Credit card authorization and payment is done in real time using WSpay™ system.

 

Is my personal data safe?

LPC uses HTTPS protocol, which enables encrypted communication and ensures authentication of the web server by establishing a secure connection. The protocol encrypts the connection, thus making LPC a safe domain for transferring files by protecting the privacy and safety of your personal data.

Furthermore, the course shop and all other parts of LPC – the dashboard, your courses, achievements, and account, as well as the blog posts – are protected by the SSL certificate, safeguarding the integrity, privacy and safety of the web location, and guaranteeing a safe use of LPC at all times.

 

Is my user data (username and password) safe?

Since we care about your safety, in case of a lost or forgotten password, LPC will send an email containing a link for resetting the password to your email address.

If you wish to edit your personal data or reset your password at any time, you can do this in your account details.

Course Shop

Why are prices denominated in both euros and kuna?

If the default interface language is English, product prices are denominated in euros, and if the default interface language is Croatian, prices are in kuna.

Payment methods for products bought in LPC course shop include paying by transfer order (direct banking transaction), credit card or PayPal.

If you are not paying in kuna or euros, the online credit and debit cards authorization and charging system will automatically convert the transaction into your home currency.

Free products also have to be purchased for the access to the desired contents to be enabled. In this case it is not necessary to enter card details or to choose a payment method.

 

Do I need a credit card to use LPC?

No. If you don’t have a credit card or you don’t want to make online purchases, but you still want to explore our offer, you can always try our free courses and experience LPC learning first-hand.

 

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, LPC course shop allows for paying in instalments, but only in kuna. Therefore, payment should be made through LPC’s Croatian website.

 

Can I pay via PayPal?

Yes, LPC course shop allows paying via PayPal, but since PayPal doesn’t support Croatian currency, it is possible to pay only in euros. Therefore, the payment should be made through LPC’s English website.

 

Who and when can access the products in the course shop?

The course shop offers our customers (B2C) a variety of products (online courses) that can be purchased at any time and via any device, and it is also possible to try some of them out for free.

If you are a business user (B2B), you cannot access the course shop and the contents offered there through your user account. If you want to have that option, you can always register as a private customer and explore a broad range of products offered in our course shop.

HalPet d.o.o. reserves the right to change the product offer in LPC course shop. It means that some products in the course shop may become unavailable for purchase or free trials. HalPet d.o.o. reserves the exclusive right to make these changes.

 

When can I access my online courses after purchasing them?

You can access the purchased courses after the transaction is successfully completed, depending on the chosen payment method.

When paying by credit or debit cards and PayPal, you can access the purchased content as soon as we receive the payment.

When paying via transfer order, your access to the purchased contents is deferred until it is confirmed that the payment has been processed and received.

Accessing free products is possible only through the course shop cart and checkout.

 

My courses

Where are my courses?

All your courses are listed under “My courses” – the ones that have not been started and the ones currently in progress, as well as the completed courses.

At any moment you can continue learning, start a new lesson or return to any part of the lessons and courses already completed.

Here you can track your education status easily: there is no fill colour in the progress bars of the courses that have not been started yet, yellow fill colour indicates course completion progress, and green indicates a finished and completed course.

 

What are lessons?

Courses contain lessons, meaning that each course consists of at least one lesson.

The form of each lesson follows HalPet’s LPC® method, and consists of Learn (topic), Practice (tasks and exercises) and Communicate (test) parts.

 

How do I know that I have completed a lesson?

Each lesson’s success rate is included in the overall course success rate. This is visually presented as a progress bar coloured yellow while the learning is still in progress, and coloured green when all the lessons in a course have been completed successfully.

 

What is the correct way to complete a lesson?

For a green checkmark to appear next to a lesson, indicating that it has been completed, certain requirements have to be met:

  1. The Learn part has to be marked by clicking on “Mark complete”. After this a green check will appear next to the Learn section in the lesson overview.
  2. In the Practice part it is possible to do the tasks and exercises an unlimited number of times. In order for a green check to appear next to the Practice part in the lesson overview, you have to do the exercises at least once.
  3. The Communicate part contains the final test. Each final test success rate is added up to the overall test success rate for all lessons in the same course.

In order for a green check to appear next to the Communicate part in the lesson overview, the minimum passing percentage has to be 80. This is why it is possible to access the test more than once in order for the minimum passing percentage to be achieved and the moving on to the next lesson made possible.

 

Why is there no green check mark next to the Learn part of the lesson?

Since it is possible to access each Learn part an unlimited number of times, you need to click on “Mark complete” button at the bottom of the page in the Learn part for the system to be able to mark it as completed. After this, a green checkmark will appear next to the Learn section in the lesson overview.

 

Why is there no green check mark next to the Practice part of the lesson?

For the system to mark the Practice part as completed, the exercises have to be done at least once. It is important to point out that it is possible to do the tasks and exercises in the Practice part an unlimited number of times.

 

Why is there no green check mark next to the Communicate part of the lesson?

For a green checkmark to appear next to the Learn section in the lesson overview, the minimum passing percentage has to be 80. This is why it is possible to take the test more than once in order to achieve the minimum results of 80% and be able to move on to the next lesson.

Each final test success rate is added up to the overall test success rate for all lessons in the same course.

 

Why can’t I move on to the next lesson?

LPC is characterized by the sequentiality of learning, meaning that the order of learning and completing lessons of a course is important. Thus it is not possible to complete a certain lesson if the lessons which precede it are not fully or at all completed.

The period in which you can access a lesson is not limited to a certain time period, so it is possible to complete more than one lesson per day, and access all contents of the lessons already completed.

 

My Achievements

How is my progress in LPC tracked and rewarded?

Get rewards or certificates and track your learning progress.

For certain courses, there is the option of getting a completion certificate that you can download or print and save.

Badges are earned for outstanding achievements:

  • Logging in to system over 30 times
  • Completing 6 lessons
  • Passing three tests with a 100% success rate
  • Course completion.

Your test results sent to your email address can also help you track your learning progress.
