Stress Management

Course language: Croatian

Stress can be defined as the body’s response to physical, mental, or emotional strain or tension. It can be caused by issues such as financial pressures, unemployment, workplace conflict, social isolation, illness, and relationship problems.

If untreated, it can result in serious health problems including anxiety, insomnia, muscle pain, high blood pressure and a weakened immune system. It can also contribute to the development of physical and mental illnesses.

However, in many instances, stress can be useful, and can help the person deal with the demands placed on them, by making them more alert, energised and more productive.
